hmm...creatures look like the makers of Silent Hill, The Suffering, and Resident Evil (before RE4) got together and said: "Hey, lets make the most f'd up things in the world and have the players deal with them."

Hope they implement it well and keep the horror atmosphere, because one of the key issues is keeping that atmosphere while grouping with others. The other one being weapon-wise, no overpowered weapons of slayage or else it'll be like 'oh look, a couple of mutants, yawn. *blam*'

One final note: Sledgehammer plz!

Edit: Watched the vid, my survival-horror side feels a little sad, but still looks bad-***. Like the bigger mutants.

Well, so far it looks like much of game will be instanced (don't hold me to this, just making conjectures). Also, got urban fighting (a must) and some combat in polar areas (The Thing rings bells). Now they need some fighting in some forests, bogs, and in the sewers (sewers can be wrapped into urban fights) to complete all the good areas.

Also, hope they make the mob spawns very good, like walkin in the middle of the streets and start to hear some growling or moaning and bam! Mutie flood. Finally, in-doors combat, got some good ideas for stuff goin on in there, like have to search through an abandoned complex to hunt down some Cthulu-wannabe and gotta watch for potential tentacles slamming through the roof or floor to strangle ya.

gonna say one more thing and then stop saying stuff 'bout this game before I get too many people hopin for a lot.

Magic system, hope they can explain it in a way that makes sense. Not arcane magic nor nano-technology, but something like, I dunno, psychoenhancement drugs ie Galerians or specially bred symbiotes that mutate certain parts of the users bodies until it's removed. Final suggestion, implants. Doesn't seem too far-fetched, considering some of the muties (nick-name for mutants if no-one gets it) have man-made alterations to them.
