Anybody following this anime? I assume you are at least Fabiann.

Gurren Lagann is an awesome mecha anime done by Gainax (EVA).

AWESOME BATTLE SCENES, MEMORABLE LINES. THIS ANIME HAS IT ALL

yeah, I loved this, then thought, "haven't I seen this drawing style somewhere before?"

Before I knew it, I remembered that Gainax also did Fooly Cooly.

It was so sad when (you know who) died; his powerful and wise speech before his heroic death.

Yea the first thing that drew me in was the art and lighting, then the characters.
