I just started playing this for the first time, and, so far, i havent noticed any sort of community at all. All i've seen is botters and people spamming adverts for gold/exp selling sites.

community is the most important aspect of a game for me, especially a grindy game. So....is there any sort of decent community in Silkroad? or should I just stick to FlyFF?

Only way you're gonna find a good community is by joining a guild, which will give you a lot to talk about specially if your guild members share your hatred for certain other players/guilds. Otherwise, community sucks, dont expect to go up to random person and start up a decent conversation, that will rarely happen.

actually, people u meet in the battlefield are actually pretty nice/decent.

When you go on Trade runs theres tons of nice people / decent people.

Last night TR was fun as hell.
30+ traders and about 4 hunters.
We made all togethere over 100m.

Soo much fun talking about random stuff.
