by "hack" are you talking about the series? I'm kind of looking for a similar thing as well.
The only one that comes to my mind is Nostale(don't know if you've ever played it before), because of the TimeStone missions which are basically instanced dungeons that you can do with a party. And you get items for completing them. But of course the "rare" items that you get for completing them aren't exactly rare anymore when everyone gets the same stuff by doing the same dungeons. Well, either way nostale isn't out yet, its only in alpha testing and will be closed beta/open beta maybe soon. If you want to try it out you could probably try a foreign version.

A nice and easy MMO game maker is BYOND. It has an easy to use programming language called DM. You can then use another utility called dream daemon to host your game(s) made with the Dream Maker. Here is an example of a simple command or 'verb'.
Code:
mob //people
verb //action
say(T as text) //what they need to type/click
world << "[usr]: [T]" //what the verb output is
it will make a message to the world with [usr's name]: [whatever they type] just search google for BYOND.(the // is the beginning of a comment) i know..that was almost completely off topic. Last edited by seishu naruto; 06-05-2007 at 05:12 PM. |

Alternatively you could collect the spare change from the couch and get Diablo 2 which is the father/best game of the genre in question.
