I noticed that a lot of people who've posted in the sticky topic about Perfect World can't read a single word of Japanese. When I tried to post replies to some of the questions, I found that most of my replies aren't posted immediately and required mod approval before it shows up in the thread. In those posts that required mod approval, I had a couple words in Japanese with the English equivalent. While I know one of the rules is that we should keep our posts entirely in English, I don't think it should be put into affect in the Korean/Foreign games section. Otherwise, it restricts the amount of help as well as the speed to which help is provided.

errrr...it's not a filter, sandman must had made all new register users on mod approval by mistake or mayb for a reason...and i don't think there's a rule saying you have to keep all posts in english...thou if u post in foreign make a translation of what ur saying. and i can post in foreign words just fine...

Hm... I dunno. Every post I've made that included Japanese text gets tossed into the pile that requires me to wait for mod approval (there's one waiting for approval that only listed the names of the 3 servers of Perfect World JP in Japanese with their English equivalent for about a day now). Every post where I have English only gets posted immediately. I don't know what else it could be since my English only posts do not require mod approval...

Its not a japanese filter, all new members have to get their posts approved by a mod/admin. Its a new system i believe, havn't seen any bots around lately its going good

Hm... ok. The weird thing is all of my posts that contain Japanese text never show up. All of the ones containing English only are all approved eventually/show up immediately. My first post had my ign and the server I'm on, both in Japanese and both were not approved. My second post showed up pretty fast (I can't remember if it required mod approval). 3rd and 4th posts contained Japanese text, which included a step-by-step guide on how to recover a lost password for someone and never made it out of mod approval stage. Next 2 were all in English and were approved and showed up about 24 hours after posting (I deleted one because they showed up back-to-back and I didn't want to break the double post rule). The post after that never made it out of mod approval stage and contained the names of the 3 servers in Japanese. All posts after that did not contain any Japanese text and did not require mod approval. The posts that contained Japanese only had a few words in Japanese, rest were all in English :/

I guess the new member thing is only for the first 10 posts? Anyways, I can post with Japanese text just fine now.
