yah im thinking about buying it (my comp sux so i cant get the other)and I had some questions I would like answered if not too much trouble.

1.do alot of people lay still or is it only like 100-200 people?

2.how many people are aloud in one game and if theres no limit whats the biggest number of players youve ever seen in one game?

If i remember correctly, there is a 32 player limit to each server. Also, the community is quite big, probably guessing around 800. If you can, upgrade so you can get 2/2142, more rewarding.

Well there are 1500 people playin bf1942 right now so yea id say alot of people still play. And I think max number per servers is 64 not 32 but I dont remember.

Battlefield Vietnam was the first game in the bf series to have 64 plays per server.

Nein, Battlefield vietnam.2 and 2142 has 62, 1942 as I remember only had 32 due to it was ea's first bf game.

I just played it last week im pretty sure its 64 players theres also a mod for 1942 that makes it battlefield 2 ish and still have great performance

Well, 2142 is for you if you like futuristic shooters. I like BF2 better but both games have pretty much the same feel (Like 1942 and Vietnam).

Hope Bad Company is going good when it comes out...

i wuldnt i got it and i didnt like it very much at all id do wat knight proposed ya do upgrade and get one of the way cooler and awesomer ones

edit: i recomend u download the demos and see if u will wana have 1942 or bf2 and 2141 or wadeva the name is
