Official Kwonho Site (For those that don't know what game I'm talking about...)

The first Closed Beta was damn-near lagless compared to the second Closed Beta and the current Open Beta. If you tried Kwonho before and were disappointed by the severe game-breaking lag, be sure to give it a second chance.

I guess I'll give it another try. But if the population remains low, will they scrap the game like they did to gunster?

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the lag in the closed beta worse than it is right now?

There were two closed betas. The first closed beta, personally, was much, much less laggy then the second closed beta and the open beta to this point.

With the update, I haven't noticed a huge improvement in lag though. I'm rather disappointed. If I don't notice a personal improvement over the next day or so I might have to put Kwonho behind me and clear up the 800mb on my PC. It'll be better used on a game I can actually play.

Don't get me wrong though, feel free to try it again yourself. I hear some people are doing much better lag-wise since the patch.

I certainly hope not. The thing about Golf King and Gunster is there were several games like them available and that were considerably more popular and/or ran better. Kwonho (if they get it running better) will be one of a kind as many fighting MMO's are plagued by poor gameplay, terrible lag or a lack of players (even considerably less than the 300+ Kwonho is getting each day).
