Default Your ideal MMO?

Bored, fell asleep too early and woke up two hours ago. Anyway, I just thought it would be kind of fun to see what everyone's ideal MMO would be like. For me, it would be a game like Otogi 2, with the same combat system, dashing around and all that. That would be awesome. There wouldn't really be classes per se, you'd just develop your character to be better at magic (like Seimei), or a strength/speed hybrid (like Tsuna), etc...

Entertain me with your ideas

An MMO where the focus is on the community, and its impact on the game world. This would have to be done in a way that isn't mind numbingly boring, or restricted.

Wish, Horizons, and Asheron's Call 2 all tried this. They failed miserably.

Guild Wars 2 is already shaking up the industry and could very well redefine the MMORPG Model and Genre as a whole.

Most Anticipated Upcoming Title: Guild Wars 2

You have to strike a balance. Too much focus on the players leads to nothing to do, or an empty PVP ghetto, and that isn't fun either. I'm not sure if those were the issues, due to me not playing those games, but I can see that issues totally ruining a game where the community is doing anything more than basic leveling.

(Opens up bible like notebook with my dream MMO hogging up every page.)

You see, like THAT!

Ah MMOs, who can make you right?

Honestly, I really like Maple Story. I don't know why. I think theres something subliminal in the game. Everyone is a dick, and I tell myself I hate it all the time, but I keep playing.

Something open-ended and community based like EVE-Online, but fantasy and realistic (like EVE.)

At least, as realistic as a fantasy game can get. I'm sick of getting hit by a huge sword five times and not dying.

Face Of Mankind without any bugs at all and a good community, yeah that would be really kickass.

You're stupid. He's not requesting an MMO.

My ideal MMO would be real life, without problems.
