Bored, fell asleep too early and woke up two hours ago. Anyway, I just thought it would be kind of fun to see what everyone's ideal MMO would be like. For me, it would be a game like Otogi 2, with the same combat system, dashing around and all that. That would be awesome. There wouldn't really be classes per se, you'd just develop your character to be better at magic (like Seimei), or a strength/speed hybrid (like Tsuna), etc...
Entertain me with your ideas

Wish, Horizons, and Asheron's Call 2 all tried this. They failed miserably.

You have to strike a balance. Too much focus on the players leads to nothing to do, or an empty PVP ghetto, and that isn't fun either. I'm not sure if those were the issues, due to me not playing those games, but I can see that issues totally ruining a game where the community is doing anything more than basic leveling.
(Opens up bible like notebook with my dream MMO hogging up every page.) You see, like THAT! Ah MMOs, who can make you right? |
