In short this game is a cracking simulator. As your basic goal is to become the greatest hacker there is you'll have to do everything it takes. Solve riddles to get access to better hacking software, plant viruses on other players to buy a better pc - or destroy them completely. Just make sure you leave no traces behind as they may otherwise send others for you! |

Yes it is. The entire idea of the project was to start off at SlaveHack's glory days - and then improve the game further.
As it is commonly known, the developer of SlaveHack hardly looks after his product anymore. In the last 3 months there has been just a single update. Nethack on the other hand aims to get at least 1-2 updates per WEEK, and even more atm as the game has just started. |

Wrong. Log into a bank on SlaveHack and tell me how long in takes to wipe the logs. FYI we're talking several hours. On NH I have NEVER needed to wipe for longer than 10s.
Quite on the contrary. Right now (NH is 3 days old) they're at the same pace, but in a very short timeperiod there will be hackings that have a timelimit before you get kicked/detected. Just like Uplink. |
