Stencyl is a brand new tile based game creation software. It is opensource and is in development to support networking features.

I was looking at this at first and thinking, "wow, this might be very useful," . . . but then I noticed that ya'll are trying to do the whole "Gamefly" thing.

I think I'll pass.

Yeah, more i think about it, i can't wait to see all the noob games no one will ever play come out of this game engine. Be granted, some of the games might be good but, eh, usually its been done. We need more innovative gameplay, not rapidly rushed games.

I disagree to an extent. Most of the people that use the game engines have creativity, just a lack of programming and compiling knowledge.

I am sure with the right tools, you could make a very successful game with this tool kit.
