-------------Brief Description-----------

Well I'll try to keep it as spoiler-free as possible. This Visual Novel is your typical romance, highschool type except I'll be adding some ecchi/comedy which isn't very common in Visual Novels. There will be many endings and, hopefully some voices implemented.

-------------Target Aim----------------

Freeware. There are lots and I mean LOTS of Visual Novels out there. The commercial ones basically cost quite a bit and most of the free ones are either too short or lack an interesting storyline or have shallow characters.

-------------Compensation-------------

None. To put it simply this should be for fun and not for money. Obviously when the game is finished I'll put your name(s) in the credits and main menu.

-------------Technology---------------

I'm currently using the free Visual Novel construction toolkit Renpy and that's pretty much all I need, for now at least.

-------------Talent Needed------------

Artist. Someone who is good at drawing anime style characters. Preferably someone who can also draw good backgrounds but that's secondary. (Also the characters should be coloured in =P)

-------------Team Structure-----------

Me...As I said there is no team...and frankly for a Visual Novel a large team slows everything down. I basically write the dialogue, come up with ideas and place the actual images and sounds in the game.

Well not much to say really...since I don't have any images I can't post screenshots and since the storyline is the reason you play the game I'd rather not give anything away.

Ok first of all for the people that don't know a Visual Novel is basically an interactive story with (normally) anime style characters. There is little to no animation but the interesting thing about a visual novel is the story, the relationships between the characters and how you can affect them.

Obviously this type of game doesn't really suit everyone and, on top of that, it's not yet famous outside of Japan.

Anyways I'll try to keep things short. I'm making a Visual Novel. I've just begun but I have the main characters introduced and the story pretty much started. Of course while I keep working at it I may come up with new ideas to spice the story up and sounds will hopefully be implemented (maybe partially voiced as well =P)

Well I just hope I find someone willing to help! And I don't need someone that's totally focused on this, four drawings a week are enough since the project is just starting and not many drawings will be needed for each character.

I feel that a huge portion or all of this could be conceived in flash, you might want to look for flash artists, or flash developers, people who easily make websites in flash.

You are corect sir!

But the 2 main reasons I'm not using flash are because:

1. Renpy is dedicated to Visual Novels and therefore makes it alot faster and easier to create them.

2. I am not willing to buy flash and learn all of it's ins and outs to make this since Renpy is free and works just as well for this =P.

But, as you said, Flash could be used and I'm pretty sure that it has been used to make Visual Novels. Yet I've taken the time to learn how to use Renpy and I'm getting the hang of it, but thanks for the comment anyway, I appreciate it!
