I just killed a Scorp Lug, for one of the early newbie quests. It dropped several gold piles, and when I started to pick them up, I thought something was wrong because they didn't disappear. Then I noticed that whenever I hit Space I *did* get gold... and many spaces later the pile started to disappear from the screen as well. Must have been around 4K total, from ONE newbie monster...???

it's just a Jackpot, can happen to anyone, anywhere, anytime, anymap, anymob lol...

Ah, so it IS a regular drop :-) Fancy.

EDIT: seems to happen occasionally. Going back from Bloody Ice town to the warp, passed another Scorp Log, killed him, and... well, piles of gold :-)

Funny thing, hasn't happened with other monsters. Not yet?

ur just lucky....i remember i only get like 1 jackpot a day when i use to play....and i use to play like 24/7 rofl...

I wouldn't mind if it happened every other monster or so :-) Right now, potions are more expensive than what monsters drop, so I have to watch my supply... I hate those time limits.

Btw, do monster drops depend on my level? I.e. if I go genociding lower level monsters, will I get the same drops that I got (could get) when they were my level?

Drops depend on the monster... I dont think your level comes into it
