I never read any of those comics. But I would say marvel. They have spiderman.

I don't know the difference. But they both come out with some pretty lame movies.

I like Marvel's villains. They all have a story on why they're the way they are. Plus, Carnage and Venom are some really cool villains.

Maybe I looked up the wrong guy because I am unfamiliar with Black Bolt, but you think this guy could contend with Superman? Atleast from the explanation of his powers they give there, I'd assume Superman would tear him in half.

Superman is powerful, but he still needs to follow the rules of the world around him(aka: Physics, interaction with matter, ect). Those that can manipulate these very elements can easily have an advantage if they use their abilities correctly, because instead of following those rules, they can make and change them.

Oh, and we forgot Thor, another Superman level meta-human

It's less so that I forgot and more so that there are a ridiculous amount of characters who could beat Superman, I just pointed out my favorites. There are even more obvious choices than the ones I picked even. For instance, Xavier or Jean Grey, who could probably just 'splode Superman's brain, or make him punch his own head off. But then again, I am not a fan of ze psychic (they remind me too much of mages in RPG's), so I intentionally left them out, along with with everyone else I am not particularly a fan of.
