Ok, I was looking for a game to buy for $20, and found NeverWinter Nights: Diamond Edition. Really cheap, you get the original game, and the three expansions for $20. So, I checked this site and asked on forums about it. And guess what??? I get the game, install it, and it won't work with Vista! It says there is a compatability problem and it won't work with this version of Windows. I tried changing the compatability mode on and putting it on XP (SP2) and it still didn't work. I also tried running it as the Administrator, and it also didn't work.

I just hate it that I actually checked to make sure and people said it would work and even a site, and it doesn't...

Dude didnt u hear it like 12424 times already ?
That windows vista is not compatible with everything that windows xp does
Go to windows xp a year of 2 later i will get vista mayb
But now stick with windows xp

coz the game was made ages ago, back then there was no vista. so they couldnt make it work with vista, you might need to go search around to see if they release any patch or something....

I know old games don't work, but you obviously didn't read my post. I actually looked around to see if it would work because I know lots of games don't work with Vista. And it pisses me off that I checked and made sure it would work, and it turns out it doesn't.

I should have said this earlier, but this computer is semi-new. It came with Vista, and my old computer (Which we got from someone else) had a pirated version of XP on it. So, I didn't have an XP disk... So, I REALLY want to get it to work... This bites. I'll look around for a patch or update or something. Found an update thing on the launcher, so i'll see what that does and hope it works.

EDIT: Got it working...

Even if you have XP if you have A VISTA (Xp combatable) Graphics card it will still not work
(Driver 158.19 and above will fell to make it work)
