You have to realize that games will look a lot better when they are running than if you take a screenshot. Both Vanguard and LOTRO look much better when running. The fact is that they have a much different look, as they are built on different engines. Vanguard has absolutely AMAZING graphics, especially for the amount of area that's being rendered at once. The problem with Vanguard is that it's a resource sink, and it's also not scaleable. If you don't have the equipment to run it, you're not going to see it as it should be even if it's on max settings. With LOTRO, you will see it as it should be, regardless of system, it will just lag a lot. haha.
In all honesty, since we seem to be comparing VG and LOTRO, it depends on your taste. VG is much more like Everquest, while LOTRO is more like WoW. |
