1. Introduction
Glove sins are one of the 6 general classes that you can chose from in Ghost Online. Glove sins are ranged fighters, they use stars to attack their opponents from afar. They are one of the best classes when it comes to hunting monsters, and one of the better classes to start with because of the low potion costs.
This Guide tells you how make most of the powers of this class. Hopefully with the help of this guide, you can make your Glove Sin to be the Super Strong, Sensational Glove sin.
Pros:
- Ranged fighter
- Don't use as much pots as other classes
- Great at killing monsters and bosses
- Can use Invis to get around a lot of things
- Can use poison in pvp and is very effective
- One of the fastest leveling classes
- One of the better classes at pvp IF USED CORRECTLY
Cons- Lower hp then warrior, Lower mp then mages
- If without the right equipment, can die very fast in pvp
- lower damage then bladers and claw sins
- need to carry around stars
- not as effective as bladers or claw sins in guild wars
2. Peasant
Just like every other class, you begin the game as a peasant. There really isn't much to it about Peasants, just put all your stat points into strength. Don't worry at level 10 no matter what stats you have, it gets reset. For skill build i recommend:
Level 1 > NA
Level 2 > +2 Run
Level 3 > +2 RUn
Level 4 > +2 High jump
Level 5 > +2 High jump
Level 6 > +2 High jump
Level 7 > +2 High jump
Level 8 > +1 High jump +1 Meditate*
Level 9 > +2 Meditate*
Level 10 > +2 meditate*
*= note that you will probably not use Meditate or palm force strike in the future, so you can put on either one that you like, as long as you used those points for the 10 levels it should be ok. I would put it on meditate just so you can meditate some if your AFK or waiting for something.
So at level 10 your skills should look something like:
5/5 Run
10/10 High jump
6/20 meditate
1/20 Palm Force
3. Glove Sin
Now that your level 10, you can go to Sentosa Plain 6 and find the Assassin instructor. Finish her quests and you are now a Assassin. You may ask "well i thought i was going to be a Glove Assassin, not just a Assassin" Well, it's actually your skill build that determines if your a Glove Assassin, or a Claw Assassin.
Once you become a Assassin, you will see that your stats are Reset, and you have 40 extra points. Before you add the points, you should know some general assassin stat builds.
4. Glove Sin Stat Builds
Pure Dex Build: Strongly Recommended, it's the basic build of sins, you simply just put all points into your dex, it maximizes damage, but you may take lots of damage in return. This skill build allows you to train very fast.
Dex/Vit Hybrid: Recommended, it's another basic build of sins, usually people do 1 vit every 2 levels, this build at high levels will do less damage, but you will take less damage and have more hp then pure DEX build. This build allows you to train relatively fast. Note** I actually suggest this build after you get to higher levels, because other classes attacking power is increased greatly, however if you do follow the skill build thing and saved points for Increase Hp, then i guess you can use that instead of this.
Str/Dex/Vit Hybrid: Not recommended for Glove Sins, it's a build that is more often used for claw sins. The purpose of this build is to Stabilize damage (For example, this build will have a attack of 500-700, while a pure dex/vit might have 400-800 damage), and have high hp and average defense. This build usually has about 30 vit and 50 str while the rest is in dex.
Dex/Int Hybrid: Extremely Not recommended, at higher levels, your mp stops being a very big problem unless your facing a healing mage or a vit warrior. If you really want mp wait till the level 62 2nd job skill, it increases your max mp. This build will just plain make your attack weaker without adding defense or hp.
Pure Str build: not recommended, this build will give you high hp, but the damage is horrible. you may get stable damage, but your damage will probably be around 1/2 of a pure dex sin. You do not get extra def from this, so i suggest you go Dex/Vit if you want more hp, 1 vit gets you more hp then 1 str.
Str/Dex hybrid: Not recommended, this build will give you higher hp, but the damage is pretty slightly weaker then pure dex. You will get more stable damage, but your damage will be lowered by quite a lot, though not that much as a pure str sin. You do not get def from this, so just like above, i suggest you go Dex/Vit.
Decide your build and add stat points in accordingly.
5. Glove Sin Skills List
Heres the skills that are used by glove sins
-------->NA, No picture for Glove Mastery because it's not an active skill<-------------
Level 10 Glove Mastery, an important skill that is a MUST MAX, it increases attack when your wearing glove by 40%, and it's a passive skill so it's ALWAYS there.

level 13 Penetrator, an average skill that can hit up to 4 monsters at once, but the damage isn't that great, and it's good enough at level 1, you basically just added into your combo to keep the monsters back. (actually i have recently discovered that maxed penetrator does come in use in pvp, it's not as powerful as a Double shot, but it does way higher then a normal attack, i chose poison over this because it works on people with higher def and also mages better then penetrator, also poison is more helpful in GvG)

level 18 Double shot, A Must max skill for Glove assassins, it is used everywhere from Pvp, to Monster killing. Costs 68mp per cash when maxed. It's a very effective skill in pvp because it follows the enemy with in a certain range. Most effective at killing monsters when you Use it as DPS (refer to this guide for information on DPS http://www.ghostsource.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2098)

level 23 Envemon , A skill useful solely in pvp, but when in pvp, it's a absolute GOLD for Glove sins. It poisons the enemy can and does about 50 damage a second. Don't use this skill in killing monsters, the most damage the poison did to the monsters, the less you receive ( if venom killed 40% of the monster's hp, you'll only get 60% of the exp, or something close to that ) Very effective against mages, and vit warrior in pvp.

level 28 Detoxify, a pretty useless skill, it heals you of poison, you use this when fighting snails and other monsters that poison you, or a sin in pvp. other then that, there is no use to it, so don't level this skill.

Level 33 Invisibility , a good skill that does not require you putting anymore points in it to be very effective. Just leave it as one, it can help you get through crowded maps, and avoid mobs. Also very effective in training if your fighting on platforms or monsters that you can jump over.

Level 38 Mirror image, a great skill useful in pvp, you have a 20% more chance to dodge attack with this skill on. Great skill in pvp because it can sometimes help you dodge the fatal blow, usually in pvp it will dodge 1-2 attacks for you. In training it wastes too much mp to be effective, cost 96mp when maxed.
6. FACTIONS and FACTION SKILLS
At level 40 you'll be given the Options to chose factions, Order or Chaos. They get different skills after level 60, but as of now, they have the same exact skill (except chaos dragon strike is red and order dragon strike is green)
The 2 factions gets you different stat bonuses
Order: +2 def per level after level 40 and +1 attack per level after level 40
Chaos: +1 def per level after level 40 and +2 attack per level after level 40

level 40 Rage, as a glove sin, i don't recommend you getting this skill at all, not only does it cost a 100% bead to get it, you won't be as powerful as bladers, claw sins, or warriors when your using this skill since they have higher attack then you do, so don't get this skill. Also, if you get this skill, it replaces your rage bar, and when in Rage mode, you can't use ANY skills, your attack will just be a Semi-ranged melee attack that can do 1k dmg per hit. The only use for this is in Guild War, and it's basically just cheating, you'll pwn everyone in 1 hit with this and a dish...

level 50 Dragon Strike, Another Must MAX, VERY POWERFUL damage, a super beefed up version of the palm strike, can do serious damage if it hits the enemy. This attack is also exceptionally ranged, AND can hit up to 3 enemies, making it a Great training skill. Cost 100mp per cast at maxed level, the cost might be a bid high so don't cast it too often in pvp or you'll run out of mp.
7.A. Glove Sin Skill Build

Level 50 > + 19 dragon strike (max dragon strike) [Learn Dragon strike (+1)]
Level 51-60 > Your choice**
Since you need 60 points (not including the already +1) in 1st job skills (not faction) i used the following marking
*= must be used on a 1st job skill
**= May be saved for 2nd job skills (after level 60 there you can get 2nd job)
***Note, if this is your first time playing, save the skill points on the double shot (keep the Double shot level at 5 until you get enough skill points to add it to level 10, since at level 6, 11, and 16, the cost of the skill doubles.
It should end up at:
20/20 glove mastery
20/20 double shot
20/20 evasion
1/20 penetrator
1/20 envenom
1/20 detoxify
1/20 invisibility
1/20 Rage
20/20 dragon strike
and 3 points in your choice of 1st job skills*
and the rest you can either Save for 2nd job or Spend it on your choice of skill**
7.B. PVP BUILD
Recommended
I find this build amazing at pvp.
20/20 Glove mastery
20/20 double shot
20/20 evasion
1/20 penetrator
10/20 envenom
1/20 detoxify
1/20 invisibility
1/20 RAGE
20/20 Dragon strike
and the rest saved** into 2nd job skills
Alternative PvM/PvE Build
20/20 Glove mastery
20/20 double shot
20/20 penetrator
1/20 evasion
1/20 envenom
1/20 invisibility
1/20 rage
20/20 Dragon strike
and put 3 points into a 1st job skill (FACTION SKILLS DOES NOT COUNT) of your choice, and the rest can be saved into 2nd job**
8. 2nd job skills and info
After you have reached level 60, you may change into 2nd job (currently not out yet in mGO).
Order assassin becomes -----> Ninja
Chaos assassin becomes ------> Avenger
From here on, Order and Chaos will usually have different skills.
2nd job skill list
Level 62 Increase Hp, this skill increases Max Hp.
Level 62 Increase Sp. this skill increases Mas Sp.
Order
*Since this is a Glove Sin guide, i will not post skills that are only available to Claw sins.
**Skills with animations are translated by me, all translations are based on the Chinese descriptions in the pictures, not what i think of the moves (because they aren't out yet). I'll try my best to translate these Chinese, so the translations are unofficial and sometimes inexact.
***Skills with no animations i kinda stole from Pyrofyr, so all credits of those goes to him lol.
Level 69 Lighting strike, While turning around, Shoot hidden weapons (stars) around one self.
Level 76 Cure-all, like the name suggests, it cancels all conditions inflicted on the character.
Level 83, Heavenly Bomb (lit. lighting heaven bomb), throws a bomb that explodes and damages it's surrounding. (btw, if your wondering why this one and the chaos one is the same but the chinese description is different I'll give your the literal translation) lit: throws bomb shell (cannon ball or w/e) that explodes it's surroundings.
level 90, Illusion Deflection Reflect back a certain amount of damage dealt to you by the enemy. (Max 30% damage reflected) *From what i understand, this skill is different from the chaos in that this one deflect 30% of the damage back at the enemy all the time, while the chaos one is 100% of the damage some of the time.
Chaos
level 69 Chaos Throw, While shooting hidden weapon (stars), turn and shoot the stars in many different angles.
Level 76 (I don't know Korean...), Increases attack and drops defense.
Level 83 Bomb of Hatred Throw bomb that will explode and damage the surrounding things. if your wondering why it's same discription as order even though it's different chinese characters, it's that they basically mean the same thing but used different words (one used bomb shell, one used explosive, basically the same thing) lit: Throws an explosives, causes explosion on it's surroundings.
Level 90 Shadow reflect Has a chance of completely deflect the damage of an attack back at the enemy. (the translation uses the phrase "reflects Some Amount of damage" though it could mean some amount as in there is a chance, or some amount as in a fraction of the damage)
the rest is classified information
9. Training
Level 1-10 level 1-5 stay on the first and 2nd map from the city (doesn't matter what direction) all those monsters should be ok. At level 6-10, move to Rocks, and Scorpions, and also hunt the red hands at South Sentosa Plains.
level 1-15 Mr. Lombats at Sungai Wang 8.
level 16-20 try the Hidden north Sentosa plains 5, hunt the umbrellas and the Eggs.
Level 21-25 Hidden N. S. Plains 3, with R2D2s and Ah Doiks.
Level 25-32 Sungai Buloh 1 and 2, train on turtles and skeletons.
Level 33-43 train at Hidden Sungai Buloh with all the brown zombies, they are Great exp and there is Great mobs there.
Level 43-46 Train at hidden A. H. plains, the monsters there are good exp for a while, and they prepare you for snails.
level 46-53 Train at Golden F Dungeon 1 on Green snails, they may seem a bid hard at the beginning, but once you get used to them, they are great, especially after you get dragon strike.
level 53-58 Snail women in the swamps, or east of Genting city. They drop level 60 stuff.
Level 58+ you can try Stone blocks, or maybe trees, tress are pretty hard though.... but stones are hard for sins too because they can't get knocked back, so i'd go with trees.
10. PVP TIPS *i'm assuming that you followed my Recommended pvp build, and this will work without that build, but not to its full potential.
Remember, always do mirror image before a match, and then heal before you begin. that way you basically get an extra 100mp at the start of the match because you healed it with the pot.
VS Warriors
Sword Warriors
Against sword warriors there is 2 things you need to watch out for, their Double slash, and their dragon strike. You can be aggressive with most sword warriors, as their moves as relatively easy to dodge and hurt much less then bladers or claws attacks.
For most warriors, try to poison them at the very start, that way, no only does it limit their options (they can't do hp change as often), it also shortens the battle a lot. If your opponent is a Vit warrior, you should ALWAYS try to do this, otherwise, you probably will run out of mp before the battle is over.
Try to remember how far their double slash will go, for both when used in mid air, and when used on ground, and wait for when their attack is over (or right before it's over), and Double shot while jumping over them. It's a little hard at first and you might miss, but once you get it, it's a lot harder for warriors to block after their double slash.
For warriors that does double slash in mid air a lot, you can also try to attack them before they get start their "invincible" phase, that is right after they perform Double slash in mid air.
Definitely try to dodge the dragon strikes warriors make, they tend to spam them since they have hp change
Blade warrior
Blader pack a serious punch no matter what attack they use, so try to keep your distance from them. On places where it's not possible, jump a lot, and they will probably try to intercept you in mid air with stun strike, so jump in unpredictable patterns and change course in mid air.
Poison is also a good way to start the battle since they have the same hp change as warriors.
As a sin, your pretty hopeless if your stunned, so DO NOT GET HIT BY BLADERS. Try your best to do this.
on places where bladers CAN'T do short hops, you can try to jump up and down and shot double shot and envenom to keep them at a distance.
And don't forget, dragon strike rule is still in place, NEVER get hit by these or you'll die..... they hurt even more then sword warriors' dragon strike.
VS Assassins
Glove assassins
Against your own class, there isn't too much you can do here. Few attacks to watch out for are Double shot, kinda hard to dodge because it follows you, and don't' get hit by dragon strike.
For glove sins, their weakness lies in that all their attacks are ranged, and if you land a dragon strike on them, the battle is pretty much over since sins don't have that much hp.
so far i found that different people with different styles on glove assassins require you to adapt to everyone of them. Some of them stick very close to you, and try to confuse you as which side of you they are on. Some others stay as far away and try to keep their distance while trying to hit you with ranged attacks from afar.
Poison don't really matter in these battles, unless the other guy likes to run. Then i'd say poison him just for the fun of it. Otherwise it's pretty useless, i mean sins die in 3 double shots anyways, so why bother wasting 2-3 attacks trying to poison them.
Claw Assassins
Claw assassins, the class thats probably the least suited to fighting glove sins. There 2 and a 1/2 attacks that you need to watch for. One is dash strike for the obvious reason that it has super high damage. Dragon strike is a attack you always have to watch for. And the other 1/2 is uppercut. The reason i say 1/2 is because not many claw sins bother to max this, this attack when maxed, deals horrendous damage, same damage as dragon strike but with no delay.
Your strategy is to jump around in unpredictable patterns and shoot ds at them as fast as it allows you to hit him ( don't just spam ds, wait till they recover from the previous hit, otherwise it's just going to pass through them )
Other then that just don't let them set-up any dash strikes on you, so no linear or repetitive moving patterns.
you should be fine if you don't get hit by DS or Uppercut.
VS Mages/Taoists
Fan/Staff Taoists I grouped those together because they basically both do the same moves except fire arrow and Ice arrow.
At the start of the match poison them right away, mages tend to heal A LOT, so poison them. The whole match kinda depends on whether you poison them or not if both players are of pvp build and are very skilled.
after poisoning, put the pressure on them, keep attacking them with ds, becareful if they bait you though, they might hit you a couple of times if they bait you correctly. So don't let your guard down.
And try to confuse by jumping around them, their attacks don't track as much as yours do, so it will really confuse them.
keep the pressure on them, don't get them have that much chances to heal.
Other Tips
Use DPS when your training, Refer to the DPS guide made by Kiro HERE----> http://www.ghostsource.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2098
Don't use poison when your training, it cost you exp
mobbing is a very effective way to gain exp so you should always do that when possible
Don't Ks other people, its pretty annoying
usually it's cheaper to sell the sealed items and then buy the weapon/armor that already has + on it, so keep that in mind
Good Ring/necklace is vital to your success as a glove sin, so try to save your money up for those
on platforms at snails, remember you can use invis, it really helps at saving hp pots.
After you hit level 50 or so, if your rich, you might want to start to train with hearning dishes, they do help you level a little faster.
Remember, Fuse with the highest level items first if your trying fusion. (ex if you got 1 orb and 1 gourd, do the orb first, and if it fails on the first slot, npc your item)
Your glove should always have priority over your armor, not only does higher fusion on your glove help you level faster, it is also way more effective then a high fusion armor in pvp.
Seems like armor is pretty useless in PvP, i have tested this with legen and his attacks only do 50 more when i'm not wearing any armor (244 def when fully armored 41 def when no armor) so i guess def is pretty useless in pvp unless you have more then 400
11. Closing and Credits this guide was made by me CoupDeGrace, took me 3 hours of hard work and thank you for reading this guide, i made it in a hurry so any improvements would be helpful
