Cause macs are better lol.

No actually the reason is that unlike Windows, you cannot get a Mac operating system from different retailers like Dell or HP, etc. You have to buy specificially from Apple.

Also back to my first point, macs are better, I would get one if I had the money .

I want a Mac so bad. I shouldn't have bought a 17 inch HP laptop

Meh, I never really liked macs, but I presume it has something to do with the apparent "quality".

Macs are made out of virgin souls, $1,000 or so is a steal.

EL OH ****ING EL. Macs aren't expensive because of their PoS OS.

It's because all their shit is overpriced, I went in-depth and analyzed all this crap.

I'll give them the fact that their Hardware is decent and deserves credit, but the crap is so far overpriced you can build a 13,000 dollar computer for less 5,000.

Also, Mac jams their crap with stuff people like me don't want, not only that, their inferior OS offers less gaming satisfaction than most people on OnRPG would like.

Not to mention the most expensive video cards (excluding one that I couldn't seem to find on short notice) DO NOT SUPPORT DX10.
Not only that, the prices for the video cards are well over 100-180 dollars the original price of said video card.

Now, I'll throw a bone here to Mac lovers, I'll give them "No viruses" that's an absolute unless someone hates macs enough to buy their computer, design a virus dedicated to destroying their Operating System and or Hardware, to demolish them. HOWEVER, the time and money involved in that would hardly be worth it, along with that, the majority of the computer population has PCs running the Windows Operating System therefor no one wants to spend time on the lesser used Mac OS.

And once more, I'll throw a bone to the Mac lovers, personal preference is a very large key to this, I, personally, think if Mac would lower their god damn prices and get their heads out of their asses they'd sell better.

Now, I found that each of their 750gb SATA 7200rpm Harddrives costs over 400 dollars, something that's barely a 200 dollar value. This is just a prime example, next to their DDR2 2gb ram (Maximum of 8 sticks) I found that their 8 sticks of 2gb ram was priced well over twice as expensive as normal 2gb sticks of ddr2 ram running on the SAME Frequency.

THERE IS NO REASON FOR THIS, someone argued that it was their "free" software, such *** Dashboard, Garage Band, Safari, and so on. BULLSHIT. none of that crap is worth 8000 dollars of overpriced hardware.

I'll tell you all something, the 13000 dollar computer works more like small business server than anything, running somewhere of like 3tb with 16gb ram, two Intel Xeons (quad-core), hell, even the Xeons were overpriced. I'll be the first one to admit though, they're overpriced to start with, but the "mac" version is even more expensive. You all can try to prove me wrong, I won't say I'm rock solid on all this evidence but damnit I know this 13000 dollar Mac is no where near worth it. In fact, none of them are, especially if you can replicate this 13000 dollar Mac under 5k.

I have a Mac laptop and love it. I don't really play PC games, anyway.

I was originally going to use my dad's old laptop, but my uncle surprised me with one for my birthday.

I too am a Mac user, and proud. Check out the Mac MIni, if your looking for something simple. Thats what I have, and it runs nicely. Lemme say right now, DVD "backup" is 1000x easier on Mac than windows. Mac the Ripper + Roxio Popcorn = LOVE. If your looking at backups at all, thats your thing right there. I dual boot mine for Maple Story, but, if your only concerned about browsing etc, don't bother with BootCamp. Macs are super...convinient. Everything is at your finger tips, and so much easier than other stuff.

man, you people, and your mac minis and shit, w/e you call them, macs are prebuilt. prebuilt are overpriced. prebuilt are shit. prebuilt give you crap you dont want. macs, and any prebuilt in general, is for idiots who cant take a few hours off in there day and figure out how to put a pc together themself and save a ****load of cash and make something more performant then they originaly would have had with the same budget. and the mac laptops are extremly overpriced compared to what you can get build on demand by other companies. so in the end, if you want an overpriced system with a shitty OS wich barely anything is being devloped for, lack of game library, or lack of anything interesting in general. knock yourself out.
