Call of Duty 4 has a release date.

The game that stole the show at E3, and will most likely get you fired from your job, now has a release date.

According to the French website Xboxygen, Infinity Ward has slated the US Release of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for Devil’s Night. Or for those of you who don’t live in the Midwest, October 30th.

Europe, you can expect CoD 4 on 9 November.

I'll just wait for bioshock. The last thing I need is another generic shooter. Plus I still need to beat Gears of War.

This is anything but "another generic shooter",and in fact,many people including myself,anticipate this to be better than Gears....until Gears 2 that is.

Well he mentioned Gears so that was the first thing I could think of to compare CoD4 to.
