so you just can include the cout as originally.

Yeah, but for new guys they dont usally show them that at the very beginning(at least from what I've seen) of tutorials. Thats a few more lessons down the road.

Add http://www.directxtutorial.com/ for DirectX.

It's pretty darn good.

I'm having a hard time finding a good DirectDraw tutorial though...
