I found the perfect game for you, though it has rooms and you have to connect from Gamespy Arcade

C&C Renegade is like the Command & Conquer strategy games cept you control one guy. You can be an engineer, gunner, rocket launcher guy, stealth, sniper, etc etc and its like PlanetSide

You repair your base, make tanks and attack the enemy base, etc..
You'd like Starsiege too, cuz you do the exact same stuff plus more like build turrets and use jet packs and stuff

Starsiege: Tribes 1 is officially free, and Renegade you can torrent and play online

Planetside is a one of a kind nobody as ever tried doing that before I was lvl 8in planetside

planet side kinda took world war 2 online features cept i think ww2 online has much more depth and it wasnt futuristic so that was also +. there fps mmorpg called endless ages maybe try it its free but to get everything u gotta pay.
