Any games out there similar to planetside?

I want a game similar to it.. that's free... or free for like atleast a month.

Doesn't have to be futuristic, but whatever.

And no savage...

I downloaded it and played it a long time ago
I think I got it from Fileplanet. Tell your friend to try that if he hasn't already

The game is pretty good but I'm not really a futuristic type of guy
I'd rather use traditional guns rather than laser disc guns and mortar cannons

Actually, the second one if free. You just need a CD Key to be able to play.

Lucky for me, my friend got it before the game went out of print. It's pretty good, but it's hard to find a map that has lots of players that AREN'T bots. If you play it, your best bet is to play on the Elite Warriors server.

The second one isn't all that good. I've had it, Lack of weapons and servers ruins it.
