Personally, I think I will be most peoples definition of a "bad parent". Not because I won't be there for my kid, but, because I think he/she should learn as he goes, and I will most likely be too liberal.

I don't like to censor things, because I feel anyone should say whatever, whenever. I think nudity and violence on public TV is perfectly okay, its something people should learn to adapt to--both of those things are reality.

However, the new fad "Bratz" is sickening me. I just watched a commercial for the movie which reminded me. I have walked out into the living room on Sunday morning (mom watching cartoons, half-assed, kinda reading the newspaper too) to see the Bratz TV show. The show was designed for LITTLE KIDS, right? So, that means, the movie should be too, right? Am I missing something? Are they trying to make teenage girls interested in dolls? Or, are they just trying to make a generation of stuck-up, conceded whores? Honestly? Barbie was a slut, I'll be the first to admit that...but, at least THAT was an undertone. These dolls and stuff are straight up disturbing. Does anyone else agree that this is one of the most disgusting things happening right now?

It really pisses me off. (I think its because I have a younger cousin, who I'd hate to see grow up into one of those goddamn dolls)

Then you have to make a decision. DUH. Learn as he goes along let him think for himself/herself.

And you also use the words 'slut' and 'whore' but these Bratz doll simply nothing of that nature, but you only assume that because of the hip hop and racial undertones through the advertisements. Or maybe you don't, but most do.

And also, if you bothered to ever see the movie advertisements, you'll see that the movie was bound to teach a valuable lesson at any age.

The world is changing. We're changing to become less close minded and to embrace the true nature of people. I like it.

That's essentially the way I was brought up, and I'm pretty smart because of it, but I tend to swear like a sailor. Only downside really xD.

I know what you mean Oister, all that stuff is just shaping the way kids are going to act. Hell, even look at womens magazines, that shit makes you feel bad (if your a girl) because it shows chicks that are extremely hot and thin and 'perfect' in the eyes of the media. It's a shame really. But there's still hope when you have people who aren't complete tools to understand this and not get influenced.

No, BULLSHIT. It's because of the way their own sub-economy and culture works. The true fact of the matter is, the government is oppressive to many races. So, in my eyes, your going to raise your kids like a complete lazy slob. I get it, let them learn for themselves. I'm too lazy to actually be a parent and help them when they need help, be there for them when they need you.

Yeah, your kids will be great people and they'll definitley be constructive to society.
