idk maybe it's just me. I tried it out, go to lvl 8 befor the grinding kiked in, which was vary repetative and boring. then i go get my rank up and try to find a decent training spot, but nomatter were i went i got killed. by the time i found a place to train, my trial had ended. I tried the free trial 4 times hoping i could get fun out of it, but no! so i was just wondering... WHAT MAKES THIS GAM SO FREAKIN POPULAR!!!!!

Well the insane guild wars(WoE) could be one factor it's so popular, and the fact that the game has a lot of classes to choose from. The Indian RO is free so you could try that...and other "stuff" I won't mention.

i guess it's mainly the characters > < i really liked it cuz i guess it was the first online game i touched. well...places to train you can just ask ppl around or ask them to tank you. it can get repetative if you don't get into a guild or to know ppl or explore around like crazy. guild wars are EXTREMELY fun especially if you're in a big guild.
o.O i never knew about an indian ro...... |

Hey, um yeah I heard alot about this game, it looks cool enough but I am curious as to what the pvp is like as far as safe zones. I did read the post about there being big battles though sounds cool, but how epic and pleasing are they really? And are there alot of ppl currently playing or is it slowly declining?
Thanx Later...Later

In my opinion, Ragnarok's not really worth it.
It could be very addictive at first, but ehm... it's very repetitive. "but how epic and pleasing are they really?" --- Um... Not pleasing. You could be wishing you downloaded a smaller-in-size game. Gosh, 2 GBs-ish, and there isn't much to do really. The statement I'm about to say doesn't just apply to Ragnarok, but, based on my experience, there are a lot of egocentric people when you PvP. When they call you "noobs" or something similar (because you got killed by them), it makes you automatically go back to them, just to show them what you really have, right? Been there. Wasn't worth it. They'll be whoever they want to be. So ya. Actually a lot of people still play it. As compared to when it was newly released, I don't think so. Lolz. Have fun.
