Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2
Intel Pentium M Processor 1.4 GHz 512 MB of RAM 24x CD Drive/8x DVD Drive 64 MB Mobility Radeon 9000 --------------------------------------- Looking for a single-player RPG (obviously) for PC that will run smoothly with those specs. The CD/DVD and Graphics Card might be a little off, but I'm pretty sure that's what I have. I enjoyed Septerra Core if anyone has played it, and Fable was amazing. I'm open to any suggestions, can't really seem to find any good RPGs which aren't either Diablo-esque or way to heavy for my laptop to run, but with decent graphics. Other good games have been the Tales of Series, Golden Sun, and .hack//series. I may try Grandia II... Thanks for the suggestions! P.S. ~ Fable was played on my XBox so I'm not sure if my laptop would run something such as that, though my laptop has run Halo with moderate settings. If detail settings are on high though it lags like hell. Last edited by FallOfIdeals : 07-29-2007 at 09:13 AM. |

Single player RPGs? With those specs? Well.. I don't think you would be able to run the cutting edge RPGs that are out now, but since you can run Halo with moderate settings.. I'd recommend Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, Diablo 2, and if you are into Star Wars trilogy.. I'd suggest Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic and the 2nd one The Sith Lords. However, if you are into traditional style RPG with a D&D ruleset.. I'd recommend Icewind Dale 2, Baldur's Gate 2 and its expansions. Other then that, if you are confident you can try Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion, but I would not recommend with the kind of computer you have.. I have PCI-E card with my 2.2 AMD Athlon x2 Dual Core processor and I still do find that it lags a tiny bit.

Just because a game is good doesn't make it popular. I didn't say it was horrible wherever you got that idea but Gothic is definitely not popular. |
