Turn off system restore, do disk cleanup and remove all old system restore points, and then boot into safe mode and run the scan.
System Restore is a POS that is more useful to viruses and Trojans to restore themselves than the user.

System restore doesn't do files, it does user settings(big whoop). It won't recover from a virus or any of that shit.
All in all it's completely worthless and you're better without it.

Blahde Blahde Blah.

Who needs anti-virus when you have HiJack this?

Download, run the scan, post it here.

Either restore it to Factory default (This is not a system restore btw), or try using a Registry cleaner.

The trojan has probably worked it's way into your registry system.

First, make sure you have a descent Anti-Virus Protection software, so everything possible with that: Scan, Quarantine, Remove, whatever.

If that doesn't work, download a descent registery cleaner.

Also download PC Doctor.
