Turn off system restore, do disk cleanup and remove all old system restore points, and then boot into safe mode and run the scan.
System Restore is a POS that is more useful to viruses and Trojans to restore themselves than the user.

All in all it's completely worthless and you're better without it.

Either restore it to Factory default (This is not a system restore btw), or try using a Registry cleaner.
The trojan has probably worked it's way into your registry system. First, make sure you have a descent Anti-Virus Protection software, so everything possible with that: Scan, Quarantine, Remove, whatever. If that doesn't work, download a descent registery cleaner. Also download PC Doctor. |
