So, pretty much the PS3 doesn't need all its ram to make games that look equally as good or even better then whats on the 360.

Oh and, they're making a new Quake Called Quake Zero. It will Quake 3 that plays right in your web browser. It's a free game supported by an ad system.

P.S. The game "rage" is going to be rated Teen. It will have the monsters Doom and Quake are known for but, it won't be as violent with guts and blood all over the place.

Sure thing. Farcry, Half Life, Half Life 2, Counter-Strike, Gears of War (Comming), Duke Nukem, Doom, Wolfenstein, World in Conflict, Crysis (Comming), Warcraft, Starcraft, Elder Scrolls, Company of Heroes, and Warhammer are all the games that come to mind, and htere IS more.

Oh God, Gears of War, World in conflict and COMPANY OF HEROES? Are you stupid on purpose or is this a joke post? I'm talking games that will be remembered and have been for 10+ years. I'll give you Warcraft, starcraft, Half-life and Doom the rest are half assed choices.

Theres no chance in a cold hell that Far-cry or Crysis will be a game everyone remembers 10 years from now. Those games aren't classics, they're tech demos for an engine nobody will want to use.


A smart PC gamer would list things like System Shock, Dues Ex, Baldur's Gate, Fallout, planescape:Torment and Myst.

Also wtf are you saying tetris, pong, pacman, Beyond Good And Evil, Psychonauts, and Phantasy Star are all on PC and or started on Pc. Shows how much you know.

The games that you listed that are actully really legendary on the concol, like Pac-man, Tetris, Zelda, ect, were from a time when computers costed tens of thousands of dollars and were not used for gaming at all.
But times have changed, and in that respect, so has what big games.
Now, you may not like Halo. There is a large group that don't, but that doesn't change the fact that it's one of the biggest name FPS.
You are far behind in the times.
Quake, Counter-Strike, Duke Nukem, Wolfenstein, ElderScrolls, Need for Speed, HomeWorld, Unreal Tournament(pick any version), and many more.
Hell, CS 1.6, an 8 year old game is still in the top ten most played game on Xfire, and then you need to consider those that don't have xfire.

And you are correct on System Shock, Dues Ex, Baldur's Gate, Fallout, Planescape:Torment and Myst.

But there is a huge different of what you think are good games, and what are popular games.



And while you guys will be enjoying an 60fps max, I'll be sitting here with a minimum of 60fps at much higher quality and the ability to mod the games.(not to mention a mouse is so much more accurate than a joystick)


And the PC also has the largest game library. Hell, you could take every game library from every single system ever made(portable or not), put it all together and it would still be nothing compared to the PC game library.



Game consoles were big ten years ago, but they are losing popularity for serious gamers.
