Alright well I only have $800 to get a new computer so I was wondering if there any decent ones I could get for that much im not expecting anything godly but i would like to be able to play somethign like CS:S or something so I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of computer I should be looking for thanks

umm, if you get prebuilt, forget about gaming, if you dont know how to put one together yourself, try to find a small shop that makes them for you on demand. on 800$, your not looking at much, that's for sure. but, if your carefull of what you do, you can easily get a pc that will run most games.

tell them what your budget is, tell them you mostly plan to play some games, they will most likely say that you wont have an up to date system but still will be able to play most games.
my friend with 600$ canadian managed to get an AMD dual core with a gig of ram and a 7600 GS. its not a huge pc, but he can play oblivion, CS:S, BF2142 and such. |
