I did a great amount of playing it in the past. I played it before even trying everquest 2, I find it actually more fun than everquest 2, just the fact that I can play it on the ps2/tv, perhaps that is why.
It had it's fun moments, though I doubt their will be anything much of a community now, if their are, it would be some real die hard fans, so wouldn't be much fun to solo till you get to their level, reason I'm not much for going back to old games unless their is a new server and everyone is starting fresh with me. Is it on pc too ? or just ps2? if just ps2 than the only problem was that hardly anyone could talk eachother, being I think mic was 1 to 1 talking or you had to use a usb keyboard which not many people did, or open up a game keyboard and try moving your analog stick to click on each word to make a sentance which is what everyone did back than cause I dont think they used mic's lol, slow process but you got good at it, the game was fun you could explore many lands and not see someone though, I liked the classes, typical everquest game that just became for fun due to being on the tv and had a great community when it came out...not sure about now adays though, if your willing to pay monthly for it, might as well just buy everquest 2 , heh and try to work your way up.
and no I'm not a pc everquest fan, just saying frontiers might be a waste of money now adays, but wouldn't really know. hf if so! I'd play it again if people were to start with me and their was no monthly fee, heh, I'm just craving a decent mmorpg to play... lol
