I found a game called saga that was kind of what i was looking for but i didn't really like it. If you know of any strategy games please list them here.

i guess its better for you to go to the single player games cause strategy mmorpg's are pretty rare. ofcourse you got some but they are all boring

It's not a MMO, but as far as free strategy games go, Battle for Wesnoth is actually pretty good.
