I don't know if it's just my client or if the Europe patch just isn't finished, but just this morning I downloaded the new Europe patch, and all of the text in the client(quests, NPC names, etc.) are all those boxes that show for foreign text if your computer can't read the text, but before the Europe patch was out and I was playing everything in the game was fine. Can some of you post some solutions to this problem, thanks in advance.


Also, I play on Odin because I heard from an unreliable source that OnRpg members are playing on that server, so if you do, give Zxeero since I have yet to make any friends on Silkroad.

Well, i've found after the euro update, the client is somewhat buggy. Sometimes I'll start, and the fonts will be that of KSRO, and nudity will be enabled (like in KSRO). It's possible thats what happened to you. Most of the time though, i start the game and everything's in the font ISRO is normally in, and nudity is disabled. You might just have to restart SRO. Also, make sure you non-unicode programs language setting is on english(united states). That might solve your problem.

Yep, I got it working, the only thing left is that when I move to a new area and it's supposed to show the title of the place, it just shows the blank blue bar at the top of my screen, but I hear it's common among most players. So, now the only thing I'm waiting for is someone to start a thread with everybody's character names and the server. If they actually start one, they should think about putting it in the "Free MMORPGs" place since more people tend to look there for answers.
