Ok you made a Virtual Network Adapter. Excellent. Now you need to Create a New Connection. When you do, you'll get a screen that looks like this. Copy my settings;

To be honest this error is something of a mystery to me, and I'm not sure why you're getting it. Make sure your VPN settings are such that you are not connecting to a different server. We're all trying to connect to PacketiX's Experimental VPN server in Japan. That's what gives us the proxy effect. So if you misspell the name or change the capitalization, it may be trying to connect to something that's not there.

If you continue to have this error. Take screenshots of your VPN client, your client settings, the moment before you get the error, and the error itself.

Thanks man I think its working now. What server does everybody play?

Hahaha I think I spoke too soon. This patcher is going to take days.

Okay I was logging on after the patches loaded and I got this:

The language error. Install the East Asian Language pack from your Windows XP CD. Instructions on how to do so are posted at the very very top section of this forum.

i talked with mutedcry and thats what i found out but i couldnt solve the problem so far (just woke up <.<)

he can connect to the proxy but it doesnt give him a proxy ID despite being set to anonymous

hes using windows XP pro

couldnt get much more informations from here but i hope that helps in finding the problem

can i ask a question? when im playing arad, with vpn off and on i feel the same...no lag..but when i try latale with vpn on , theres lag badly..too lag to the extent i cant play. but for latale i cant off vpn if not i will dc.
anybody knows wat can i do ?
