I don't know where you read that, but its wrong.

The game isn't "room" based, and it is NOT limited to 16 players.

You CAN certainly trade.

Hellgate was never suggested to be an MMORPG, but it does have "MMO" like traits. You can meet up with many other players in safe zones and create parties (like in MMO's), trade, do whatever together. Do quests solo or with friends/parties.

To clear it all, it is a mmo based fps. A friend of mine was accepted into alpha testing. Demons are the enemy.

Also, I'm not 100% sure cause I only watched him play a bit of the game. You can do charge up skills and such with swords and melee weapons.

From the recent videos I think this game wan't be so cool as I exptected, my hope are all for Bioshock.

Hellgate blows away that garbage.

It is a buy to play game, the multiplayer is free forever, but you can pay monthly for content updates and new stuff also among other things.

Hellgate is pretty much an updated Diablo II with much better graphics, First or Third person view, and lots of stuff to shoot and blow up.

Heh, I wouldn't say I was any better than anyone else here. But sometimes people just need to like, wake up a bit.

How anyone could actually compare Hellgate London to ANY free2play game, whether it was Wolfteam or Soldier Front or Warrock - it doesn't matter. Hellgate blows them all away, just by loading the game up.

Don't get me wrong, F2P games certainly have their place for all of us, but I would never, ever compare a F2P game with a multimillion dollar budget mega game like Hellgate or whatever it may be down the line.

room base only in dungeons/maps, when somebody joins your party they can enter your portal...
when your in town/safe zone, you can see everybody else, and you can walk around and sell junk items to NPC or buy more pots/armor etc. etc.

ps. if anybody cares, i have uploaded all the hellgate videos onto Veoh....

Why do you keep saying HGL is a new korean MMORPG/FPs ???
It's american and isn't even known in korea for as far as i know

well the korean server's going up first i think...anyway i think i typed it wrong while i was uploading the videos, couldn't be bother to change them now anyway lol...
and it is known very well in korean...thou not as popular due to B2P stuff...(as you might know korean games in korea are never B2P and hardly P2P at all...)
