Unanswered question... When is the BR Cabal going P2P? Time would be nice to see how long I can play for. If it's next month or the end of this year or sometime next year. Any info would be nice.

Yeah I was just going to say. Cabal Online BR is already P2P. I talked with the GM and anyone who wishes to pay for it may. But the download for free is only a 7 day trial. It's a good game in my opinion. Although I don't speak portuguese, I could pretty well understand the quests that had been given to me. And although I'm only lvl 5 it's got an amazing set up. Press "C" and up at the top for your class it will tell you the required stats you should have and by lvl 10, 20, 30 to 60. And beyond that you're free to decide what you put your points into. If I wasn't a F2P kind of guy... I would pay to play it. Oh, one last thing... Cabal Online BR has no plans to go F2P any time soon. Meaning they might consider it in a year or two

Sadly for me, whenever I do the data transfers, I end up corrupting my cabal file completely. Seems like I will have to wait patiently for the global one to pop up.

i know a way to play europe version when out of europe (ps. never tested but heard it works) use a proxy (i is not knowing if thats what they are called)

omg,amazing discovery . now seriously, proxy = loads of lag and d/c. playing thru proxies u'll get sick of the game very soon,u'll die lots of times while grinding, and u wont be able to hold a fair PvP.

on the other hand,i dont know why there's so much hype for cabal...guess its becouse ppl believes what they advertise (bullshit,just bullshit) and want to try it themselves.
but to me its a POS in a huge stick.i could play it f2p, but instead i wish it was vanished from reality.

lol the english patch that taco posted doesnt translate anything at all its all still in brazilian is there a full 100% working patch so i can read what the ingame quests are cause its not translated 1 bit


and dude cabal online pwns 2 moons (in mine and many other pplz eyes) just letting you know playing a stupid game like 2 moons is worse then playing this

well,its a matter of oppinions,i guess. i had a 102 STR Blader back when the game was p2p,and i found the game truly sickening after 2 months.

the endgame content is nonexistant, the gameplay is the slowest i have ever found in any mmorpg (ditto for pvp) and it isnt flashy at all. they promise you ZOMFGBBQ flashy skills,but they "forgot" to mention that u'l only see them in battlemodes.

explanation: battlemodes use one full barof special energy.u can get up to 5 of those thru the kill of endless mobs. so killing 200 mobs will grant you 1 full bar...that u'll waste in a battlemode use,which only lasts 2 minutes, and gives practically any benefit other then a bit harder punch and some def, and some flashy effects.
u'll find yourself barely ever using it in PvE,and practically NEVER using it in PvP,since they totally suck and nullifies your hability to combo.

so yeah,cabal has a terrific advertising campaign to catch braindead fanbois like you,but other then that...meh

It's not all that bad. Nothing really amazing, but if you can cope with the weaknesses... and it's free, after all. As of now, the optional pay-features are really optional.
