eh.....why not try Super Robot War Original Generation 1 and 2? Both game u can upgrade their mech's stats, weapon damage and pilot skills. Quite nice game if u ask me cause i finish this 2 games on GBA and currently playing the remake for it in PS2(even better graphic)
