Its my first language do you think it would be a good one to start with?
Are there like any programs ill need to learn? How long should it take the average person to become a pro at it? |

Well, it shouldn't take too long. Learning C++ isn't really too hard, it's learning APIs like DirectX, OpenGL, FFMPEG, that's the part that's hard. Once you understand the basic language, you should probably try to learn the Win32 API, it has a bunch of useful stuff that will help you with developing programs on Windows. Here's a tutorial to get you started. If you know how to compile C++ code, and understand the basics of the language, you should be able to get through this: http://www.winprog.org/tutorial/
