that's quite easy. You can use website building systems such as:
drupal
joomla
mambo
etc

just search it on google and you will find it

it's very easy to install them. just upload it to your web space, then, input the correct url the introduction says, input the database information, click and click.....

welll CMS doesnt really require HTML, to modify it and understand the code yea you need html/css or php or any other scripting language or use a WYSIWYG

Whats the site for?

Nice place full of HTML tuts. http://www.w3schools.com/

Of thats too complicated for ya, you can just use MS publisher or some other editor.

If THATS too complicated for you, go visit freewebs and get a template site :P

Default What do you want do do.

I think, as with the above poster, we can gve you a good answer if you tell us exactly what it is you want to make. Do you plan on having CGI/SSI and need a program for that? Want to make animations or flash interactivity? Create your own graphics or need a large archive of already created gifs/jpgs?

I just started my own website from scratch as well. Biggest advice I can give is dont get bogged down by the pretty 'bells and whistles' you envision your site to have. Make a solid core foundation first and only later think about 'eye candy'.

List what it is your trying to accomplish, and I bet I (and others on the forum) can get you started in the right direction.
