I've been joining games for a couple of hours and I'm still level 1 cos everyone's higher than me >.<

if ur low lv like 1-10 play gollemgames untill the end u should get lots of exp if u win much..
after lv10 do all available stages then u should be lv11 or 12, dont get freaked out if u cant win all stages retry max 3 times if u cant win it the third time u wasting time, play more gollem eacg lv u go up try a stage..

and for the statpoints:
warrior:
go for Move Speed first till 20
then u can choose between basic atk (what most pple do) or range (needed practice for it)

blacksmith:
go for speed at least 20 to max 50
then u should choose for grip or basic or range if ur expert with it

ninja:
obviously always 50 atk speed and move speed
then u can choose between pro stun gripping with adding grip after or if ur experted with range choose it(yes i know range is hard to master but later worth it)

archer:
25 into move speed first then 25 into range then upgrade both to 50 after that u can decide urself

mage:
the main gollemkiller mostly so here what to do
add 50 range 50 move speed and 50 atk speed

gollemkillermage:
add 25 range and 25 cell damage then when u have it add 25 move speed then upgrade everything to 50 what i said above
