calling them chasers makes sense cus they "chase" that old guy around apparently
Look up a video of the secret ending for the normal KH2...its also in Final Mix though. It shows three of them(Chasers) taking three rusty keyblades(Sora's, Mikey's, and Riku's) from a literal field of keyblades, and then a series of words appear. The ones I remember off the bat are "Chasers", "Memory of Xehanort", and "War of the Keyblades"(or was it "Keyblade War"...?).
