I was wondering which is better. to buy the box of a game. or buy it through steam[if it's their]. which do you think.

It's like this.
Buy it through steam you need to garentee your net access, but you don't ever have to worry about losing the game. Buy the box, no worry about net access, but you could lose or break the disk.

Although I never bought anything through Steam, I would feel better just buying the box.
I say you should buy the box. But I think my suggestion might be a bit biased as I never bought anything through steam before. |

Perticularly, I like haveing a visual reference as ownership of the game on my shelf.
There is nothing that says "gamer" more than a shelf full of game boxes.
