Why is there something[universe] rather than nothingness?
God made it.

Just what is most important to you?The past, the present ,or the future?
They're all important. As a Christian, though, the future takes the most priority, but present is very close behind.

Why do you think about this matter?
Dangerously? Do you mean bombs? That's not all there is to technology! I think that we're advancing at crazy rates. We went from the controllable airplane (kitty hawk) to putting a man on the moon in about sixty years. We have eradicated small pox, which has killed more people than any other disease in history. And nuclear bombs? Well, to quote Bob Marley, "Have no fear for atomic energy, because none of it can stop the time." My only problem is that this level of advancement will not continue. We do not have enough resources to maintain this level of increase. Unless we find some renewable energy sources and makes them capable of economic use (solar panels won't power a steel mill... yet).

Is it possible to travel back in time, and if it is.Should we attempt to change anything?
It's not possible to travel back in time, except by the theory of relativity. Good luck getting something that can move light speed. Besides, the past doesn't physically exist. Neither does the future. The present is the only thing that does. Once the present becomes the past, it is no longer there. What keeps track of the physical state of the past? Until we find something that does, I'm going to say it's just science fiction.

Depends on what you believe in. And some stuff just happen by random luck.

All equally important. We all use the past to help with the present and future, at least we should.

Let's just hope we develop something that can help prolong the life of this planet and eventually things that will let us survive on other planets. The way its going now human civilization isn't going to last much longer.

Don't know how or if it would work but changing the past is pretty stupid. Except maybe when the worlds about to end and people use it as a last resort to save our race.

Unless there are multiple realities, that makes it slightly easier, however, if there is one reality then going back in time doesn't change what has already happened because it would have already happened anyway.
You mean like the MWI?
