That's the original FE - Marth & Roy included. Released in Japan in 1990.

You're argument is that Fire Emblem is not an old series when, in fact, it stems back to 1990. It also scrutinizes Hirako's statement by questioning his knowledge of characters that are over 17 years old when, in fact, he is correct.

It might've been a bit smarter for you to have dug up their history first. Then you'd have something that applied to his statement.

By old, I figured he meant not having another game out...like the game Pit is in, Kid Icarus, it's technically old since it doesn't have another title...Fire Emblem, can be new technically since they have a GC version and Wii in the works.
