Diamond Announces 2GB Graphics Card
Upcoming PC games like Crysis and Unreal Tournament 3 will certainly be pushing even the best hardware to the limit, especially graphics cards. Which is why one of the newly announced Diamond FX 2000 cards will come in handy. It will be packed with a massive 2 GB of video memory (DDR4, of course), while the GPU is the recently released ATI 2900 XT. Although the card is mainly intended for professionals (video editing etc.), I can imagine at least a few gamers, with considerably deep pockets, who’ll invest in one of these. The card will be out in a few weeks, price unknown. Source |

This PC cost £780 with 2.8GhzProcesor(dual core equal to 5.3), 2gigs of Ram and a Geforce 7800 yet a 8800 is worth this entire system (This is my Girlfriends PC =p) |

If you are a professional, doing video editing and such, you don't go with a GPU ment for gaming, you go with something like the Quadros
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814133189 Gaming cards are best for gaming, work station cards are for things like video editing. Adding more memory won't give it that big of an advantage. |
