Basically Vista needs more than double the CPU and RAM power than XP does. Im not saying your a lier but I dont believe it.

Read into how Vista works... hell I hated vista on my old system XP always ran better... Now my new system runs it faster then XP ever ran for me.... I build custom PCs, Repair them Etc... I am an IT specialist

Those are my specs hell XP doesn't even support 64 that well let alone dual cores Vista supports them way more and has more optimizations and is built upon the trusted 2003 Server Os base

Yeah it may have problems with some games, but all the games I've installed so far ahve been fine and run perfectly well!

Hmm....
this is what I did to make all the games work for me in Vista, I didn't do that compatibility thing.

1) First off, vista doesn't have the dx9.0c files, so search google and download 'Directx Web Setup', will install the latest dx9.0c

2) Download Visual C++ runtime (a lot of games require this, including, R6Vega, bioshock/tons of games i have no interest in listing :P ).

3) if that doesn't work try that compatibility thing.

Upgrade what? I already got directx 9.0c and read from a site that tells me to type in dxdiag in run to upgrade my graphics driver but nothing happens.

Hmmm, I've tried that in most games if it doesn't start normally. But I still get a lot of problems. There was once I was so mad I wanted to smash my computer.
