Hello,
I've got a few questions regarding to RF Online. 1. a. Why do people spamming skills outside of town? b. Are there skills buff skills? c. What are the effects of doing this? d. You need to have the RF bot for this or another bot? 2. a. How to grind PT? b. Do I get better range damage if I go one PT up? c. Is it possible to grind PT with the bot from RF Online or another bot? 3. a. Is an Accretia Launcher Striker any good? Compared in Damage/Defense? b. Which character race/class does do the most damage? 4. Do my begin custom armor effects how I look in the end? I mean with this if you have chosen another armor then your friend in the beginning at the customation will he looks different if we both wear the same equipment? Thanks Abyssion Last edited by Abyssion; 09-09-2007 at 02:05 PM. |

B.Yes there are skill buffs. C.Spamming ur skills makes them gain xp and lvl up faster as stated before making them stronger and more effective. D.No u do not need a RF online bot to perform this task. 2.There are many ways to grind pt first ur main pt which u lvl on the way like melee ability from there when ur a higher lvl u go back and farm more pt like ur block if u plan on using a shield(u gather low lvl monsters and have em attack u and ull gain block pt) or use magic or range weapons in that manner..only problem when using another weapon u have to go back to killing llow lvl monsters due to the fact ur newly selected weapon wont due much on the monsters u are fighting now seeing how u have to go back to a lvl 1 and increase pt till u can use higher lvl weapons. B.Pt doesnt rly give u boost in damage i believe i may be wrong pt is just a lvl in proficiency and lets u hold stronger lvls of items...the higher pt in a certain category the higher the lvl of weapon and armor u can use. C.I never used bots so i cant help u there but if its a bot and it does normal bot stuff like train then ull be getting pt. 3.The accretian launcher is well rounded but the only problem is ur ammo u have to carry different types of ammo due to element issues so one monster may be affected by ammo with a fire property but another may be affected by ammo with a lightning property. B.The damage a class does depends on how good the equipment they are wearing is.Ive seen rangers do more damage then warriors ive seen warriors do more damage then launchers ive seen launcers do more damage the warriors and ranger and ive seen extremely powerful warriors but i believe the warrior in the end has more damage then anything else if you equip em right. 4.No ur beginning armor doesnt affect in any way the equipable armors but that would be a cool idea xD. |

b. if you mean skills that buffs your character or someone from your race then yes.. c. skills level up.. max skill level is 7 d. not really.. 2 a. you earn PT as long as you use that stat.. for example.. you whack a monster(at least 1 star mobs) with any melee weapons you gain melee PTs.. you use melee skills you also gain melee PTs.. the same goes for range and force, for def you need to be hit by a mob(at least 1 star) and for shield you need to equip a shield w/c gives you a chance to block.. and when you block you get shield PTs b. yes.. but its almos unnoticeable, it also gives you more SP(stamina) c. you could also gain PTs by attacking/buffing/debuffing people 3 a. based on damage yes.. based on def.. you'd better rely on your dodge since launcher armors got low def b. that really depends on ur equips and whom you're fighting against.. but it'll definitely one of those DPS class 4 a. nope.. that begginer armor is just some sort of costume.. it shows up whenever you're not wearing any armor.. they wont let you run in HQ naked now.. wont they?

Not sure about the atk skills but you could always tape the buffs down and leave the comp on while you go watch anime and such. |

You can't train attack skills while afk since in order to do so you need to hit an enemy with the skill.
there's a macro system in game that will allow you to cast skills in a certain order and then you can bind it all to one key. That way you can just tape down that one key and to level any buffs you need (Ctrl+Y) to access the macro option). Berserkers for bellato are the best Damage Dealers for melee due to to their possibility for high evasion which will allow them to constantly carry around a 2hand sword to deal dmg where other melee damage types have to pull out a shield when being targeted. (This is for PvP recommendation only. Not sure about PvE.) For damage dealing weapons you'll either want to go with a spear (high dmg possibility) or for 2 hand sword (more of a constant atk compared to spike dmg with spear). I recommend spear for PvP since PvP in RF is based upon doing the most spike dmg before the user can pot again. |

That is called a siege kit. Any class can use a siege kit as long as they're wearing a launcher. The only thing is, when you're a striker (branch from ranger), you get class skills with it that do massive damage. |
