I have a question, what do you think is harder to do, telling the person you love that you cheated on them. Or breaking up with some one. You cannot answer neither, and u cannot answer both. I am interested what you think the hardest thing in a NORMAL relationship is to do. (That means nothing like I'm pregnant or I got AID's stuff)
SO ANSWER AND SUPPORT YOUR ANSWER IF YOU WANT.

I voted telling your other you cheated on them, because if you look at both scenarios, you're gonna end up hurting your other's feelings, but if you cheated on them, then that's just an even worse of a reason to hurt someone. Plus I'm sure theres the whole guilt issue with telling someone you cheated on them, AND its harder for others to admit they're at fault and they did wrong.

Well if I ever did cheat, which I would never do, I would have no problem telling my significant other O.o about it, because I'm an 100% honest guy when it comes to the person I love. However the break up always sucks D:

I would have to say telling that you cheated. Never had a hard time breaking up. In fact, more or lesss I can keep a fairly decent relationship between me and the other after breaking up

Depends really, I normally have had bad break ups. However, telling somebody that you've cheated on them is probably worse... I wouldn't know from experience, never cheated in a decent relationship. Although from being cheated on and then broke up with. I'd say the cheating part hurt more...

Cheated on them...because it's a major breach of trust, as others have already said, both scenarios are going to hurt but let's face it, it'd be much harder to tell them you went behind their back and slept with someone else.

You phrased it poorly. If you truly loved someone you wouldn't cheat on them nor break up with them. That would be contradictive.

If you don't love a person anymore, non of them are hard at all.

Just because someone cheated on their lover doesn't mean they don't love them, there could have been many circumstances to fall into place.

And just because you don't love someone means you should show no emotion to them whatsoever? that's idiotic.

I'd have to agree with most of the people ive been broken up with before but when it was because "someone else" and i was being avoided. It hurt BAD.
Anyways it seems people seem to hate being cheated on more then being broke up with not mentioning that there are some relationships thatyou break up BECAUSE of cheating.

one of my ex girlfriends thinks i cheated on her which i didn't -.-
lost an amazing friendship because of that
