All you need from Bard is Moving March and Noise, maybe lvl 1 of mana cycle. And just get all the skills available for 2 handed swords.

Are you kirayamoto on SRF? Just get whichever skills you can. You'll need them all. Concentrate on teh ones you find useful. It's not like you'll have a lotta skills to upgrade at one time at early levels anyway. There's just the 2h Sword mastery and 2h sword skill at lvl 4 (if i remember correctly). Then you have maybe a new 2h sword skill at lvl 10 or so. At lvl 17 you probably have maybe 3 attack skills. And seeing as you should be using skills all the time, I'd think you'd want as many skills as possible so you can keep using them while another one cools down. There's really not that much room to go wrong. Or are you confusing yourself with the dual axe and 1h sword trees. Just mouse over the skills, and they'll say required weapon "Two-Handed Sword". Just dont raise any skills that say required equipment (or Used equipment) is dual axe or 1h sword. Raise everything else.

No need to cap it. You dont really need to keep it that low. On my Rogue/Bard, im going at a 1 level mastery gap, and im doing ok, cant raise all the skills I want straight away but i get them eventually. You might wanna move up to a 2 lvl gap (ie: lvl 15 masteries at lvl 17). Your mastery limit will always be twice your level, so the game allows you to have 2 masteries equal to your level granted you have the sp, so you dont need to cap it.

Yes, you can max out both as long as warrior and bard are the only masteries you're raising (Ie, not trying to raise cleric or warlock or whatever).
