Post BATTLE OF THE FREE "TATICAL" SHOOTERS [TC:Elite vs Urban Terror!]

Yea I've been thinking of going back into TC: Elite(True Combat Elite). I am playing Urban Terror now, tell me what you think

Gameplay:

Tatical- I think Urban Terror is tactical because when you get shot, you can cover & duck to heal your wounds, but is a pain in the @** to heal them because it takes a while.

- In TC: Elite, its tactical because you can literarlly go behind a corner peak out and then shoot, which is cool because that is kind of realistic since you have to "peak" at a corner before you go in and shoot. It takes away the "spraying" in the game which I think is cool, makes it more realistic.

Realism in Urban Terror:

Urban Terror is focused on blending realism with the fast-paced action of shooters such as Quake III Arena and Unreal Tournament. The realism in the mod is introduced through a number of changes. The weapons available are real-life, have recoil, are less accurate when fired while moving, and require reloading after a magazine has been expended. The number of weapons and other gear that can be carried is limited. Damage is also realistic, based on dividing the player target into discrete areas. In addition to the damage system, wounds require bandaging, and wounds sustained in the legs or feet slow the player down considerably until they are bandaged. A stamina system is also present, and is depleted by activities such as sprinting or jumping; crouching down allows the stamina bar to recover faster. Depending on the map being played, external environments are more realistic too and can include weather effects such as rain or snow.

Realism in True Combat Elite: TC: Elite uses Tactical Realism which
is a genre of gaming in first-person shooters where realistic settings are simulated by the game engine to the best of its ability and players use authentic military tactics to accomplish goals in the game.

I think its pretty cool, cause If you played games like the Rainbow Six series, you'll pretty much know what I mean. Here take a look at the videos at the bottom, notice how the player in TC: Elite is hiding behind corners.

Other advantages/disadvantages:

- TC: Elite is a mod which you have to download with Return to Castle Wolfenstien

- Urban Terror is a standalone game which you can download
