I left because of community issues (IE getting harassed for my characters' looks, one had an afro, the other a smoochy face), but then I decided I'd rather not avoid a game I enjoy simply because of bad players.

I think I'd like to be a warrior, cuz I heart axes ever so much, so I'm researching warrior guides and the like...which brings up the following questions...
1) Looking at builds, it seems to be suggested that warriors up both their attack skills. Which one would work better for a beginner warrior going fighter?
2) I hear 'Final Attack' can cause problems. How so?

Oh, and I found a cool site where you can create your own avatar based on Maple Story.
I made it my new avatar, but I don't think it's showing up yet...(you'll notice when my character has a green afro)

Both Power Strike AND Slash Blast are very important. You're going too want both maxed. A good idea is getting Power Strike to ten, then Slash Blast to ten; now max them however you desire.

Final Attack is BIG no-no if you go Dragon Knight. Mainly because it doesn't work with your third job skills. Now then, say you go Page or Crusader, which you'll probably do seeing as how you like axes(Crusader). Final Attack is FINE for these two jobs, seeing as how they use Power Strike constantly, and your weapon attack speed shouldn't cause a problem with mobbing.

also i'd suggest putting 1 point in powerstrike at the beginning then do your hp skills

i can't remember which on you max or w/e so i guess just check a guide...we have some doozies in the guide section

In short, for first job get 5 points in "hp recovery" and then max "Improving Max HP Increase" first, otherwise you'll loose max hp. Powerstrike and slashblast maxed is also a must.
At second job you need mastery at lv19 for your prefered weapon first, this stops the unstable damage for warriors. As lefos said, final attack for page or crusader, but not for dragon knights.
That's it for lv10 to lv36, i'm sure by the time your there you will know the rest.

I actually max all my health stuff, then slash blast. I find slash blast more important, and more effective as a low leveler. If you have money on your hands then slash blast is the way to go.
