Gloden Sun 3!? - Single Player Games

i hear talk there's gana be two new golden sun games, one for WII, for DS. dude, golden sun is like one of the best handheld RPGs ever! is there realy a third game in the making?

, i played so much to Golden sun 1 ans 2 on GBA, this game own so much!! i never found that this game was outdated!! A golden Sun 3!!

there was supposed to be a golden sun on GC but it was scrapped.
i wasn't really a big fan of the series,it had its moments though.

Yeah, there was supposed to be a GS3 for the GCN that was coming out in June 2004, but it never came out. How are they supposed to continue the series, anyway?? The only possible villain (Alex) is dead, all of the lighthouses have been lit, and everything's all hunky-dory. It would be plain LAME if they brought in some random villain for a GS3.

They could make a game with a totally different story and setting but keep the gameplay and stuff.

I know what a good story would be.

One or two of the GS characters (maybe Ivan/Isaac or Piers would be the main character?) would be out on the ocean with Piers and they'd get lost and fall off Gaia Falls and end up in another world. It would be like a ToS type thing, where there are two co-existing worlds and while one world prospers the other one goes into decline. There would also be an introduction of two new elements, Luna (Moon/darkness) and Sol (Sun/Light). There'd be more Djinni, new summons, new enemies, new allies and more Psynergy. And the main characters try to find a way to change the world so that both worlds can co-exist in happiness equally. And maybe The Wise One would be the one who made the two worlds that way, and maybe he'd be absorbing the power of both world's lighthouses in an attempt to gain godlike powers in order to erase both worlds from the cosmos, and after he obtains this "godlike power" you'd have to fight him as the last boss to stop him from destroying both worlds.

I think that's a good story.

I haven't heard about them adding onto the series, but It would be nice. The DS is highly in need of some good rpgs. <.<

Uh, no? It has alot you just have to look... FF3 is pwnage for start...

But yeah that would be some serious ownage if they make a part 3 with a new story line new time line etc etc... GS is awesome another part is cool with me as long as it doesn't ruin the series...
