Default Guildwars help pls!!!

Ok when I first purchased the game I was confused if I could handle it or not because I just got a simple Dell computer with basic stuff.I still purchased the game so I started playing it.Once after like 30 mins of playing my comp would go to blue screen so I had to restart it.I was wondering why and what I needed to do because it was Physical memory dumping.I thought because it was my low RAM of 512 MB.Recently I just got 1gig of RAM so is that enough to play Guildwars?

srry for this much lol I just really wanna play also comp info

Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz 2.79GHz 1.00 GB of RAM

also is this problem occuring because of my video card because I still have the basic one that dell came with

thnx for all your help so I dont feel like I wasted 40$ on a game I couldnt play

The specs you posted seem perfectly adequate to run GW - which makes me suspect your graphics card may not be up to scratch, particularly if it is the stock one that came with your computer.

What I want you to do is:

Right-click on "My Computer"
Go to "Properties"
Click the "Hardware" tab
Click "Device Manager"
Click the + next to "Display Adaptors"
Tell me what it says there
Right-click on the entry in the list
Choose "Properties"
Go to the "Resources" tab
Tell me everything next to a "Memory Range" category in the resources list.

Also, you might have better luck if you dropped all your graphics settings to minimum.

1 gb RAM is more than enough.
Integrated graphic cards should be able to handle guild wars though dedicated graphic cards would be preferred if you want to have full immersement of its beautiful scenary.

Ok, that appears to be 128Meg, running mostly off shared memory. Possibly integrated graphics??
It should be able to handle GW just fine on low graphics settings.

If it bluescreens again it could be a sign of something else wrong - could I ask you to write down the error message that comes up?
